HARD_CODE is a game I developed in my sophomore year with a team of 12 DigiPen students. I was a designer and scripter on the game. I designed and scripted the mechanics of the game, as well as designed many of the levels.
HARD_CODE is a turn-based stealth/puzzle game where the player must outsmart and outmaneuver their enemies. The game employs simple mechanics that engender emergent gameplay.
You take the role of an unnamed hacker whose goal is to infiltrate the servers of big corporations. You can connect and disconnect nodes, and manipulate the patterns of patrols by pinging nodes on the server to distract them. Use these abilities in different ways to find your own solution.
